IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Regrettably , My Angel Foundation must cancel the upcoming Night at the Palms. The owner of The Palms Restaurant and Lounge has informed My Angel Foundation that due to unexpected circumstances the new restaurant will not be prepared to open this Thursday as planned. Instead of re-scheduling the event another time, we have decided to cancel it for 2009. The foundation looked into changing the hosting venue, but due to the short notice and cost, moving the venue is not possible. My Angel Foundation shares your frustration and disappointment, but the circumstances are beyond the foundation’s control. I am truly sorry for the last minute notice.
My Angel Foundation is looking forward to partnering up with Salsa Des Moines to hold a similar event in the future that would not be contingent on a third party’s schedule.
My Angel Foundation would like to offer all ticket holders a straight up ticket transfer to My Angel Foundation’s upcoming Gift of Life Art & Wine Social on Friday, November 13th at the Des Moines Social Club (ticket value is $30.00). Eighteen local artists will be producing art works based upon the themes of “Second Chances”, “Celebration of Life”, and “Hope Through Compassion”. Join the friends and supporters of My Angel Foundation on October 1st for a fun-filled evening of dinner and dancing at one of the metro area’s hottest new restaurants and clubs — “The Palms” in West Des Moines. Be one of the first to visit this chic, upscale, Copa Cabana-inspired establishment.
As a charitable, fund-raising event organized by My Angel Foundation, you’ll be supporting our vital cause of organ donation awareness. The $20 ticket price is very affordable for so much fabulous food and fun. Here are the details:

7:45pm - Performance by Salsa Des Moines
8 - 9pm - FREE Salsa Lessons
9pm - 12am - Salsa Dancing!
- Location: The Palms (in the former Mondo’s and Joseph’s Steakhouse building) 4001 Westown Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa 50266
- $20 per ticket/person for dinner and dancing
- Salsa dance instructors will provide demonstrations and lessons
- Drinks will be available and can be purchased separately
