My Angel Foundation is always looking for creative, proactive, and enthusiastic volunteers! The foundation provides numerous opportunities for volunteers. Volunteer activities can range from leading a team, to recruiting sponsors for an event, giving organ and tissue donation awareness presentations, and etc. The possibilities are endless!

C.A.R.E. 5k, 10k, and Fun Run and Walk - May 2008
“Compassion for Awareness, Remembrance, and Education”

This committee is responsible for planning a highly successful road race that will raise awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation and raise money to benefit the My Angel Foundation’s educational and support programs.

2nd Annual Paddling for Hope Dragon Boat Races - August 2008
This committee is responsible for planning the 2nd Annual Paddlng for Hope Races. We were very pleased with the turn out in 2007, but we need your help creating new ideas to make the 2008 races bigger and better! The Paddling for Hope Races will convey the importance of organ and tissue donation and raise money to benefit the My Angel Foundation’s educational and support programs.

Hope Speaks is a new and exciting My Angel Foundation community outreach program that will provide speakers to discuss organ and tissue donation at driver's education classes, schools, workplaces, faith based organizations and community events. Hope Speaks representatives will address a full range of topics associated with the organ and tissue donation process. Trained Hope Speaks volunteers -- some of whom will be transplant recipients or donor family members -- will also speak throughout the community on the need for more registered donors, the legacy of donors and their families and the emotional impact and life-changing gift that donation represents.

Does your workplace participate in a United Way campaign? Then you can designate your pledge to the My Angel Foundation through United Way’s Donor Choice Program. Simply follow the instructions on your pledge card, or write-in our name and address. Contact your human resources department or local United Way agency for more detailed instructions about giving a gift to us through a United Way campaign.
