Art is my diary. Throughout time art has marked place and time. My work is the expression of daily events that form ideas and transform the canvases. I don’t attempt to settle the piece before paint hits the canvas. I like the canvas to tell me what it needs in the form of line and color. I look at composition and balance, and my feelings drive the piece on a subconscious level.

Ideas are an internal ingestion and the art is the medium of the expression. Understanding my work is to understand me as a person. Evolution in the paintings shows how small ideas turned into big ideas and those ideas back from big to small. The smallest things in life strike ideas that fuel my work in progression.

With over 19 years of photography, graphic design, and print experience, I tend to be a jack of all trades. I love to dabble in all forms of art and create for the soul purpose of creating. If I need or want something, I create it. I stay very busy with music and the arts and most recently in the past few years have reignited my passion for photography that melds traditional work with advanced digital expression. I am constantly drinking in information in all areas of art that interest me...I love to learn! My portfolio consists of fine art, painting, drawing, 3D modeling, corporate identity and photography. My whole life I have been blessed with an artistic eye. Until recent years, I didn’t recognize my talent for what it truly is: God working through my eyes and hands to create pieces of art that intrigues and evokes emotion in the observer. My imagination captures fragments of this beautiful world in order to create my own personal artistic interpretations. Most of my artwork contains arrays of reds and purples, teals and greens. These colors are taken from God’s natural color palette contained in nature and the world around me. I have been told that my paintings are often energetic, fiery and passionate in their overall color scheme and feel, which also reflects my personality. Ultimately, God gave me artistic talent as a gift to use and not waste. I hope to continue on a journey of exploration toward revelation of my overall artistic gift.
